Thanks for answering me.My dashcam has a parking mode which gets triggered by movement, and then records for a minute. It would also record when the G-sensors or microphone notice an impact.
The downside is that when I’m parked up for a few days at home, or even a few hours at a busy place, the dashcam stops recording to protect the 12v battery. And I think even an impact won’t get the cam recording then.
This dashcam also has parking mode (I think), but since it is connected to the courtesy lights, it stops getting power when the car is off, so I understand that your dashcam is connected to the fuse box.
