It is reported that the R39 version is coming to MG4 SE models for Türkiye. There is now Turkish language support.

Dumb question? Does SE/Standard not have scheduled cabin heating/cooling? I see option to enable in app, but no schedule.

Are people still experiencing the issue with having to reconnect the USB cable everything the car starts? I have a carlinkit and although my phone can access its Bluetooth, the car can’t see it’s CarPlay connection.

Yes, if the connection start when the FICM isn’t completely booted it’s necessary to reconnect the usb cable. To resolve this issue, it’s a pretty common issue in various infotainment for a lot of brand, some model of carlinkit have a startup delay that can be activated, if your model have this setup enable it and set to 40 second and it should work, even if the ficm do the “long” boot sequence.

I can confirm this. I connected the phone before the system (R63) had booted and android auto remained grey. When it had booted, cable out and in and it worked.

Yes, it’s annoying. As soon as I get in the car, I instinctively plug my phone into the cable, and then I always have to unplug and replug it to make it work. Even though I have a Carlinkit to use wireless CarPlay, which works perfectly thanks to the startup delay setting, I never use it because it drains the phone battery too much.

Sometimes I do this, but I prefer CarPlay with a cable because it's much better than the wireless version. I find it more responsive, and if I have to plug in the cable to charge my phone anyway, I might as well use it for CarPlay too. In the end, I gave up, and when the FICM fully powers up, I simply unplug and replug the cable.

I have a MG4 Xpower with installed Software R40.
Can I update to R46 or R63 with the files from the Gdrive?
Does someone maybe has this R40, so in case of Service I can flash back to this version?

What problems are you having with R40?

A lot of errors:

• Bluetooth does not work properly, I have to reconnect my phone manually every drive
• Display remains in day mode when car startet in dark condition (deactivate light and reactivate forces display to go in dark mode)
• When entering a tunnel the display changes to dark mode, but remains black (Workaround is the home button)
• Radio does not start automatically, somtimes it does not work. Then a reboot of the system is needed
• Light assistant does not work correctly. (High beam always eneabled automatically)
• Lane keep assist is aggressive and does not work correctly.

We have 3 exactly the same Xpower in the family, all have this errors, all are on R40

My car dealer won`t upgrade my software, like the most of the service partner!

Is it SWI68? If so then you can update but unfortunately R40 isn't available, if it's SWI133 then there's currently no updates available

Not sure, bought the car second hand. Right shortcut works fine tho.
