My Infotainment is missing loads of options

Hi. I have just taken delivery of the MG5EV Trophy, which is an ex-demo.

My Infotainment System is missing numerous options.

No shortcut on the Home screen to 360-degree camera settings.

No icon for heating the seats in the air conditioning settings.

No Icon under settings for 360 cameras.

No options in vehicle settings
The only options I have in this are:
Steering Wheel
Door Lock
Battery

I am missing all of the following.

Lane assistance
Speed Warning
Speed Control Mode
Traffic Jam assistance
Front Collision Assist
Etc.

MPU software version - SWI83-29867-1300R07
MCU Software Version - 83.3.4.4

I'm surprised they sold me the car without installing the latest software, so I was wondering what the latest versions are of the above.

I tried hitting the update button in System settings, but it said "Car not Registered.

Any advice/help appreciated. I would go back to MG, who sold it to me, but they are closed for easter.

OK, I must admit to not being fully au fait with the specs of the MG5, but I know from my MG4 and previous MG3, that many of the features you're missing are/were only available on the Trophy, but if you're sure it's a Trophy, there's obviously a problem somewhere.

It doesn't sound like its a Trophy. Are the buttons on the end of the control stalks blue?

Just checked the Registration on The Auto Eperts and it came back as

In that case it seems that the dealer (or factory) has loaded the software for the wrong car.

… or they used the original infotainment unit to repair another car (quite common with demo models) and replaced it with a SE version without noticing?

Which dealer did it come from? Not seen version 1300 R07 installed on a later Trophy. You need to challenge them on it in the first instance.

Mine came with R12 which was current at the time of manufacture (March ‘23)

Have since updated to R17 myself as purchasing dealer was both useless and far away.

Have you tried car with a Tesla charger - you look to be relatively close to the Earley open-to-all site?

I had a similar problem could be the 12 volt battery has been disconnected it went away after a couple of days

The dealer has agreed there is a problem and they are sending someone down to me to install the latest software.
