Over Rev thing

I'm new here
Just got registered
Awaiting my zs max hybrid in the days coming
I am pretty amazed by the price and the features it adds in a reasonable price in comparison with its competitors

I wonder, does everyone come up with the high Rev thing or it's random? Nothing came up in 4 test drives I've done before I lock in to it... When I've asked a sales representative about it, he said that it's Okey, and this is happening in order to fill up the battery etc and also it's a common hybrid feature and so...

Thing is I've never had one before and idk how safe this sounds about the engine in matter of years coming... Sounds pretty unsafe for the engine and the transmission system that car is working at 5k+ rpm...

Highest revs I've had is 3.1

At 1050 miles I've just run it in, 900 miles.
Never been on motor yet but tomorrow will.

Oh great! Let us know your consumption as well I see people hitting easy high mpg or low l/100km
I hope I can be getting around 5lt-5.5lt/100km honestly...
My daily route consists of a 45km distance 65% highway and 35% city
