Utterly confused now looking at the tariff options today, Sept 1st. I don't see that I have the option to move across to Go, is it the 24 month fixed tariff? See the screenshot. Any and all suggestions appreciated. Thank you

Maybe they've stopped taking additional people onto it at the moment as they can't hedge against it with the current energy prices. I'm sure it'll reappear once they've sorted the influx of new customers out.

Maybe that is it. I will try to call them today.

From their seemingly hundreds of tariffs I have extracted these, whether they are the right ones or not who knows. You can do your own calculations based on your own usage.

Agile
Standing charge 21p /day
Unit rate capped at 35p / kWh

Flexible October 2021 v2
Standing Charge 26.82p / day
Unit price 19.89p/kWh

Gas standing charge 26.11 p / day
Gas unit rate 3.94p / kWh

As a new customer, you have to go on a standard tariff first before Go becomes an option.
Is it possible that they want to do the switch in two steps?

I signed up to switch to 'go' (and emailed the agile team before the switch to ask about go-faster). They can't connect to your smart meter until you're switched though so you would always be on a standard tariff for a bit whilst that happens.
For me, that was pretty quick and they put me straight on my preferred go-faster slot within about a week. (Well, I assume they have. it looks like it on the app, but I haven't had my first bill yet...)

I would imagine they're a tad busy at the moment though so I wouldn't expect them to be responding as quick as they normally would.

Go to that Web page, fill in the sign me up, and they email the full t&c, prices and activation link to your email.
Go is 12month term.

If you want go faster - email [email protected]
Thankyou. I emailed them on Friday, I guess I will hear from them Monday.

Seems I have to wait for up to 14 days after switching across to Octopus before a smart meter can be implemented to report back readings every 30 minutes.

They gave me the thumbs up after two days so that's very much a worst case scenario.
