do you get a type 2 charging cable with the LR ZS
Me neither, I'd rather have my cable flat on the floor when I'm walking round the car, saves my old knees striding over a suspended cable like those. Not a big fan of the "Pig Tail" type leads really myself.
I never liked them on the air lines in the garage to be honest.
Not directly the same thing I know, but because they are extendable, some people seem to think they have an unlimited reach and over stretch them !.
The wide coils in the "Pig Tail" cable, makes it hard to store the cable out of sight in the boot.
Personal hate of mine, charging cables on show when you open the boot.
Okay - If you wish to raise the boot cover board I guess ?.
Fine if you had a one of them fancy "Frunk" trays under the bonnet.
Not as standard but some dealers might throw one in for free.do you get a type 2 charging cable with the LR ZS
I brought my spare from them, but the 22kw version (Zoe supports 22kw).Here is one I bought about two years ago, it is still at the same price of £114.00 including VAT.
It is the 32 Amp 7.2 kw rated lead, at the usual standard length of 5m but you CAN order one at 10m for an extra cost, but this is likely to be hard to keep tidy in the boot of your car.
It is a good quality lead and the price is reasonable.

Well done you !.I tried with my dealer but he said you have already had more gifts than I usually dish out. But I did squeeze a set of rubber mat out of him. After we had done the deal?
The vast majority of 7 kw public posts do NOT provide a Type 2 lead !.EV neewb question:
How often do people need to use their own Type 2 cables? Dont most public charging points have tethered cables?
I'm surprised at that... It's kind of like going to a petrol station, and having to take your own nozzle! The vast majority of 7 kw public posts do NOT provide a Type 2 lead !.
Throwback to before type 2 became the standard. Otherwise there'd have to cables for type 1, type 2 and chademo.I'm surprised at that... It's kind of like going to a petrol station, and having to take your own nozzle!
I got one of the Evonestop cables mentioned earlier, can't fault it at all.Ok, so If I can't persuade my dealer to "throw in" a type 2 cable, where is the best place to buy one?
