Sorry if it was mentioned somewhere already.
I just learnt today that my sub woofer is not working. Actually it was the first time I wanted to really listen to music and I was searching for fade and balance of the music because I did not hear anything from the rear speaker. Setting is on ALL. I could not find a setting for fade and balance but learnt that my rear speaker (sub woofer) is not doing anything.
Any ideas, or simply broken?

I’m pretty certain that mine doesn’t work either as well as the rear speakers behind the seats. The is no balance control that allows for any front / rear adjustment.

On my Cyberster I had a problem where I couldn't toggle between All and Driver. The system was reset and I'm now able to select Driver or All. However while the system sounds pretty good overall I'm still skeptical that any sound is emanating from the rear speakers. Especially the central speaker. The folks at MG Thailand assure me the sound system functions as stated. Whatever that means.

I have just tried a Dolby 5.1 test video (there are lots on Youtube) std left and right and center work. Rear Left and Right just come out of the main left right, for me sub woofer did nothing. Anyone else tried a 5.1 or 7.1 atmos test ?

I appreciate the car may not be "Atmos" but if you include in the spec "8 speaker bose® audio system" it should be 8 speakers that are separated and not a stereo pair duplicated.

Has anyone had their sub woofer fixed yet and if so what was the fix? I can add my car to the list of people with faulty subbies..

Checked out my sub woofer today with some very bassy tunes. The sub woofer works but is very weak. Not really up to Bose standards.
I previously posted that my sub woofer was not working, but it turns out it is, but as you said very weak (rubbish in fact). And your right, it is not up to Bose standards which is very disappointing. It was one of the major box ticks for going with the car.

Maybe a stupid question, but have you played with the audio settings? My reason for asking - I have an Xpeng G9 Performance with the Dynaudio system (22 speakers) and I was initially disappointed with the audio/bass until I started playing with the settings. Now it sounds great :)

Yes I have. The settings available are very limited, treble bass & mid. Messed about for ages to no avail.

Is there maybe a way to claim to MG for this to check if a firmware update can fix it? Anyone has contact with MG to tell them?

Wow - that looks a lot different than my Xpeng G9 :) . I just ordered my Cyberster, so that's why I asked.
