CarPlay and iPhone 16 / IOS 18

My Cyberster will arrive in March, but when we were at a test drive event, it connected my Samsung Z Flip 6 and lost connection after a few seconds. The cable was already in the car, not sure if it was plugged in to USB-C or USB-A port.

I use z fold and works perfectly

Where? Euan, can you please post a photo of this please. I can't see a flat surface on the dashboard where a wireless charger would even fit. I asked my dealer, who said wireless charging isn't available even as an option on the Cyberster.
 
I think he is referring to the small slot next to the cupholders, but I'm pretty sure there is no wireless charging there (or any other place in for that matter).
