I’ve had my MG ZS Long Range for approx 2 weeks now and really enjoying it.
I’ve finally got the iSMART app working as the car is bound to me now but I’m still experiencing a few teething problems, which could totally be user error.
I’ve been charging the car from our EVEC wall box...
So I spoke to my local MG Dealer last night, not the one I bought the car off, and they have confirmed that the car is a Long Range and they can tell because of the size of the battery that is listed on the details of the car. They don't know why I don't have the dotted line to move the battery...

The car is in ready mode, I’m on the charging screen but nothing is moving and I’m still just getting the pop up messages. I don’t have the charger plugged in either.
Could it be because the car is still bound to the previous owner? I’m just waiting for my V5 to come through so...

Thanks @Gadget Geek I’ve tried pressing the long journey mode button and all I’m getting is this “Set a higher level for longer journeys. This will require more charging time”
I’ll definitely read the instructions but trying to do so on a small screen on the phone is difficult.

Sorry to jump in here, I’m still waiting for the car to be unbound so I can get the app set up, but can I confirm I also have a long range? It was sold as that but just want to check as I can’t find anywhere to set the charging to 80%, but realise that could be in the app. Thanks in advance
Thanks both. I’ve been in contact with MG and it’s currently still bound to the previous owner. I only picked it up yesterday so just got to wait for the V5 to come through so they can unbind and then I can start again.

Yes it’s from an MG dealer. It’s not 12 months old yet but it’s got its had a service this year and it’s got the 3 pin plug. I’m also told (after they checked) that it has had all updates etc done.
