How do I know my ZS is a long range ?

No as I think it's correct. If you do an MOT checker on a few random LR cars it doesn't say LR as the title.
No mention of long range ( battery size ) on the DVLA / MOT checker on my car.
I would not be overly concerned.

Please help! - i have the same question - we took delivery of a brand new mg zs trophy long range this month. Granted it's been very cold, but 80pct charge only gives me 158 miles - is that normal? I read the above about checking whether you can set the charge limit. I have the option in the app, but not the onboard screen. Have i really got a long range MG ZS?

Yes. I also have a ZS trophy connect. This is what I would expect to get in the winter. However this will depend on your driving habits and heat usage.
But evan at that range reading I would not drive my car expecting to get that full range of 152.

Wanted to check my estimate mileage and to reply you, and realised my car didn’t charge last night!!! I will reply with the mileage I see once the car is 80% charged

Thank you! Assume yours is a long range too?

I think the LR is 115kw vs 130kw for the short range. I've seen it written on the car somewhere i think.

Sorry to jump in here, I’m still waiting for the car to be unbound so I can get the app set up, but can I confirm I also have a long range? It was sold as that but just want to check as I can’t find anywhere to set the charging to 80%, but realise that could be in the app. Thanks in advance

You can also do it on the infotainment system. If you can't set it to eg 80% (in fact anything other than 100%) then it's standard range.

Thanks @Ruislip Resident but I’m not sure HOW to set to 80%. Could you please give me a pointer on where I should go to find that? I thought it would be where I showed the image in my last post but I’m not sure. Thanks
Looking at the screen you posted, looks to me that you have standard range - 45% charge showing 84 miles range means just above 200 miles on 100% which is like mine - standard range.

If you click on that "battery health mode" on screen, that should set it to 80% if you have long range model (please correct me if wrong - mine is SR)

best thing to do when you need something is to check out instructions manual, you'll need it ?

Yes, you are on the right screen. If you touch the far right side of the scale where it says "Long journey mode" it should go to 80%, 90% or 100%.

Thanks very much for your help. Looks like it will be back off to the dealership as I need a long range!
As you have Long journey mode, you have a long range model.

Thanks @Gadget Geek I’ve tried pressing the long journey mode button and all I’m getting is this “Set a higher level for longer journeys. This will require more charging time”
I’ll definitely read the instructions but trying to do so on a small screen on the phone is difficult.

Don’t think you can move the bar up while charging finish charging then move the slider although I could be wrong
