    Phone holder above USB port

I have used Velcro to attach my Carlinkit adapter above the wireless phone charger shelf. It’s not completely invisible, but it’s as neat as possible. If I don’t want to actually charge my phone, I just move it slightly so it’s not doing so.

    ‘Driving’ is now blank……

Aha, I’ve managed to put it back in myself!

    ‘Driving’ is now blank……

I have looked, some have their models and some not. Yours does. Very strange!

    ‘Driving’ is now blank……

My details used to include which car model I have, but it seems to have disappeared. I have tried to see how to reinstate it, but without luck. Anyone else noticed this?

    Full Size Spare Wheel

If you take out the foam insert, a space saver wheel, together with jack and tools, fits into the boot, and screws securely into place. I also carry some ‘Tyreweld’, which I understand can be removed from a tyre, unlike the gunk supplied with the car.

Interesting/worrying story from Scotland - ZS with no brakes.

Surely, if any of these ‘experiences’ were substantiated, the DVSA would have taken action.

Interesting/worrying story from Scotland - ZS with no brakes.

It’s disappointing - it would have been interesting to read the results from MG’s diagnostic tests apparently showing 8 faults. It was an incredibly unlikely scenario, and wouldn’t be the first time a driver’s mistake was blamed on a faulty car. Let’s see if the poster comes back with an...

Cannot find the colour code of my ZS EV

I agree it can be confusing - my car was advertised as ‘Monument Silver’ but my V5 lists it as ‘Blade Silver’. No doubt they are exactly the same colour anyway! I bought a touch up pen using the colour code inside the drivers door.

Interesting/worrying story from Scotland - ZS with no brakes.

Out of interest, today I asked my front seat passenger whether they could see my feet, and the pedals on the MG ZS. They could not, unless their head was almost on my lap……… Just saying ?

Front wipers - lifting to clean or change blades

After turning off the car, operate the wiper switch, and the wipers go to the service position, in the centre of the screen, so they can be lifted for cleaning/replacement without damaging paintwork. Lots of cars are like this, and it’s in the manual.

    Change Speedo to display km/hour

Just as a follow up from the answer given by @Ian Key - on the MG ZS, the page to change from mph to kph is slightly different, but it’s the same method.

    Change Speedo to display km/hour

I presume the ZS has this capability too? Not that I’m planning a trip across the channel, but I shall have to check it out. Thanks @Ian Key

    Second Service Due

I have a service plan, but booked my service on their online portal myself. There was the opportunity to detail any issues with the car that you needed them to attend to. Personally, I wouldn’t wait for them to get in contact. You could easily slip through the net.

Protective silicone case for key fob

Obviously, they do add bulk to the key, but I’m not bothered by that. I was slightly concerned about how well the buttons would work through the leather, but everything reacts perfectly.

Protective silicone case for key fob

I have these - they are leather, and beautifully made. I bought them from Aliexpress. The red one is actually red, though it looks ‘orangey’ in the photo!

Wishlist/'must haves' for next version of the ZS EV?

Sorry, I don’t know how to do that! It was in the ‘accessories’ section - someone was asking whether a shark fin from another type of MG would fit. Looking at the one I bought (from the ’my orders’ list), it says it’s not compatible with the ZS EV - very strange. It was listed as a ‘super shark...

Wishlist/'must haves' for next version of the ZS EV?

It’s really easy and cheap to replace the aerial with a shark fin one. I think I paid less than £8 on Aliexpress, and fitted it in 10 minutes.

The great big insurance rip off

It’s as well to remember that a second driver on your policy might be required to ‘rescue’ the main driver and vehicle, if they were unable to drive for some reason. Friends had a large (over 5 ton) tag axle motorhome, as did we. The wife was on the insurance as a second driver, as it...

    Upgrade of house main fuse

I am on a looped electricity supply. I (and my neighbour) originally had 60amp cutouts. I was told there was no issue running my Wallbox, but subsequently, my neighbour declined having their driveway dug up to have a new service connected. I don’t blame them, btw. I used my 4 hour cheap window...
