Understood, I'm booked in for service with Luscombe's in Leeds but with all the confusion any extra info on how different dealers are handling things is welcome!
Fingers crossed for you...
Thank you for sharing Gomev. That is indeed disappointing. I've got my annual service at Luscombe's in a few weeks and have specifically asked for the update. Initially told there were 'no updates' for my car but then actually shared some posts on here (including yours) and then they said it...
This is a random related question, if your 12V battery goes flat would plugging your home EVSE remedy that, or does there need to be some juice in the 12V to begin the charging process?
Hi Gomev - when does your car go in? I've just noticed that the supercharger at the Tesla Service centre over the road from Luscombe's is open to all now - a quick pit stop to check if the update has worked!
Sorry my misunderstanding, I assumed you had an Ohme wallbox not myenegi so I can't help as much, but with my set up yes if the car is set to stop at 80% it will regardless of what you've asked the chargers to do
Do you mean the Ohme app? As you can't (yet at least) use the Octopus App for charging an MG.
If it's the Ohme app use that and disable any scheduling or charge limits on the car and you're good to go.
(A slightly more complicated answer is I tend to have charging limited to 80% on the car...
I don't use the native sat nav usually, but did notice when I went on the other day I had to accept some new Ts and Cs which did make we wonder if something had updated
Cheers, although when I did try in the autumn last year with Luscombe's (September time?) they were unaware of this issue (although tbf it was in its early stages then!)
I'll get booked in and see. It's not crucial for me for my usual driving but for the occasional longer trip it's a hassle...
Used Ionity loads on trip to France last summer - became my go to rapid, the app was good at telling me live status of occupied stalls etc (although worryingly not really working when I just looked!). Quite common at French motorway services.
I paid with electroverse as you get 5% discount...
It might be useful if people could share which dealers they've successfully had the required update applied via. I wasn't getting very far with Luscombe's in Leeds when I was last trying to get the update confirmed in the autumn.
Yeah it's definitely the top plastic coat (and not very deep) there was more of his car paint on there than loss of mine...
Thanks yes, they say they have the colour match and it's 'guaranteed' apparently. Think I might do that as mobile scratch repair companies seem to be £200ish which seems...
Cheers - do you think it would do an OK job on the scratches in the above pics? Like I say not overly fussed about the cosmetics but be good to know it's tidied up...
Hi All
Had a slight scrape in a car park today (somebody carelessly reversing into me, even though I was stationary!!) Damage is pretty modest tbf so weighing up best thing to do. Anyone recommend any touch up paint type stuff that would cover the scrapes? Not that bothered from an aesthetic...
Ok, you do you as the kids say...just seems an odd level of discrepancy from the day rate for IOG compared to their standard tariffs based on what I see for my area.
I'm sure you'd encourage all to check the offered rates in their own area as obviously should a 12p differential exist for them...
I'll have a nibble at this...can you share the evidence of a 12p differential between the Intelligent Octopus Go day time rate compared to 'their other tariffs'?
My day rate is approx 2p dearer but more than cancelled out by the cheap EV charging and low off peak.
My average cost power kWh...
