Just out of interest, what process are you using for preheating? I can't get the app to send hot air to the onboard heater. It turns on the AC but seems to always blow cold regardless of the temp. I have a FL SE trim.

To each their own of course, but that two hours of car charging would have to be a large proportion of your overall energy use to make that much of a difference. Eon's day rate (when most people will still use most of their electrictty) is a fair bit higher for me than octopus.

I appreciate the conversation has moved on somewhat and now seems to mainly concern PFL models, but just a quick update that today I got my FL 23 Plate MG5 updated for Tesla Charging carried out FoC as part of the first service (and it works). Luscombe's Leeds were the dealers.

Cheers. I'm convinced of two things at least, the 'update' for FL 5s to charge at Tesla sites is out there and does address the issues. I'm less sure how evenly it is understood and handled by the different dealers ??‍♂️
