Sometimes I hear a continuous sound, sort of a droning sound, when I shut off the car with the remote key. It happens randomly one in 10 times.
I haven't been able to determine how it lasts, since have to use the key again to stop it.
Is this normal?
Thanks.
Is there a situation for the car plug lights to be on without the charger conneccted other than when charging?
I opened the lid after some passing problem with the back doors (I could't open them nor the charger lid) and the lights or leds were on.
Thanks
The general recommendation for regular charge is in the range 20 to 80%.
I've read that it does not apply to LFP battery cars, that there is no problem charging 0 or near 0 to 100% with these batteries, but I can't find any reliable sources for this? Does MG have a recommendation for LFP cars...
There is a general recommendation to always keep the charge of EVs between 20% and 80% (charge always to 80 not 100%).
However, I have read somewhere that this does not apply to LFP battery cars such as the MG4 standard that can be charged to 100% REGULARLY and left to discharge to 0% without...
Doesn't really matter. I found the solution, which is actually a bug in the app. It triggers an error of camera permission that prevents you from going ahead when what it really needs is access to location.
So have both location and camera permissions granted at it will work.
Thanks.
I still don't have the car but reading the manual I am confused about the procedure to charge the MG4, particularly about the need to lock car - charge - unlock car.
Can I be inside the car with the air-conditioning on while charging?
Can anybody give me a step by step guide (for dummies)...
I tried to bind the phone to the app but I get the message that the camera permission needs to be granted. However, in the app permissions, access to the camera is ok.
Thanks
