I have a MG ZS EV & use a OHME charger, but when it says I've 100% the range in E mode is only shown as 157 miles. Should it be more like 185 miles & is there any way I can increase it. The car is less than 1 year old so wouldn't have thought it was the battery loosing it's ability to hold a charge.

Mine says 151 miles on 100% with Eco mode. 137 on N mode so you are ok. Temperature will dictate GOMs guesswork. Never heard of 185 as an achievable range. Perhaps downhill with the wind behind you in mid summer at 50mph?

Were you getting more rang during the summer as it works it out on current driving modes IE with heater on etc. Try turning everything before you connect the EVSE and see what figure you get in the morning.

My usual suspect is aircon. If it left on when you put the car on to chare, it immediately deducts ~30 kilometres from the range. And it is easy to leave it on on a low setting.

The range that the car displays is meaningless and just a guess based on your previous driving. To predict your actual range do the following:

Take the useable capacity when new and times it by the SOH of the battery to find out the real capacity
e.g. 42.5*0.95=40.4 kWh

Think about the journey you are about to make and using your experience estimate what the likely energy economy you will achieve is
e.g. 3 m/kWh

Multiply those numbers together to get your real range
3x40.4=121
