I recently left my headlights on and drained the 12V battery. As such the fob wouldn't unlock it or open the doors. I fixed the problem this way:

In the front bumper there is a round plastic plug on the left side. Pop this out and reach inside and pull out a cable with a yellow loop on the end. If you pull this it will pop open the bonnet. Once in, you can jumpstart the 12V battery. While the leads are still on, use the fob to unlock and open the door, get in a press the brake to turn on the car and look for "ready" in the dash. While the car is on, roll each of the windows down and hold the button at the bottom for 5 sec and roll back up pressing 2x at the end. This resets/seats the windows. Keep the car on. Once you take the leads off the battery (car on), close the bonnet (replace the cable and plug) and drive around for min 40 min immediately to recharge the battery.

This is much better method than trying to manually open the driver's door with the emergency cable. I tried and couldn't and the AA guy said this is a bad idea anyway if you can do it the other way as it will mess up the seating of the window and door.
