A good alternative EV

Your double post was deleted because it was.......... a double post.
Everything related after that was referencing something that no longer existed so was also deleted.

Point of info for everyone - Double posts (and those devoid of content) will invariably be removed automatically as part of normal housekeeping but this process can be hastened if they are reported so that's the best thing to do if you want things tidied up quickly.

Whilst I couldn't afford it I did drive a Renault 5 turbo rally car on normal roads in Sweden in the 80s it was awesome. There wasn't a rear seat it was all engine.

You have to hope the 600bhp lives up to that

But they haven't been deleted. They are both still there. It was a genuine mistake.
Which I just tried to make a bit of a joke about. And got an amusing reply. All tongue in cheek stuff really. I realise there are rules. But all just seems a bit petty.

In terms of bang for buck I think the XPower has spoilt us and now they are getting close to £20k for used examples anything new is going to have to handle well and be a pretty special place to be.

Hopefully the ability to easily switch off driver "aids".
Yes, I've just looked at Harry's garage review - a single button - just like the heater controls / google maps built in / heated seats as standard. I'm seriously thinking about this car, it just seems to tick every box, although I think I'll go for the default colour, even though Im a black or white person. It 'only' weighs 1440kg also.

I wonder if a bit of duct tape over that button would kill it forever :) :)

Sooner or later it will cause deaths, then what of this stupid idea, although some appear to think it's brilliant, and if it was just a warning, perhaps it is, but to slam on the brakes while Doris behind you is putting on her makeup and runs into you   new car sales will slump I think.

I had a Metro for a while and quite liked it, but I drove a Metro van for a while, chalk and cheese the van was way quicker off the mark and used less fuel despite being fully loaded most of the time.

A colleague (too) many years ago had an XR2. He loved it, except for low speed driving as it was an earlier one without power assisted steering. :)

I never really got into Fords, I had a bog std Mk2 escort, ditto mk2 Fiest (the last car was a Fiesta, Had loads of Trannies, I had a Mk2 Granada 2.8 Ghia, cracking car, but PXd it for a Chevvy C10 pickup, so had more than I thought.

The van-type, hopefully. ;)

That's not a bad list of Fords for somebody who never got into them Kev. ;)

I thought the van engine were the same as the car...low compression so wouldn't have thought it would have made a great deal of difference.
