Android auto dark map

Hi, my AA map theme setting is set to auto, and the AA change the theme related to the car headlights (dark for light on, day for light off)

The problem is that every time i start the car the map is always at day mode until i first turn the light off and then on.

Anyone have this issue?

I get that in my SE SR* ... toggling off/on the auto-lights via the rocker switch on the indicator stalk puts the satnav in the correct mode.

I recall reading that @the happy bunny found the same issue but when they applied 1300R59 (the Trophy software) on their SE then this issue seemed resolved. What software version do you have?

* that said I've taken to setting my satnav app to Dark mode anyway.

Yes, I can confirm I experienced this exact same issue on my SE model with the 1100R33 MPU and the 69.3.8.0 MCU.

I thought the problem was resolved after upgrading to 1300R59 and 68.4.3 (yes, on an SE), but it reappeared tonight while using CarPlay.

It seems this bug is affecting both SE and Trophy models.

R59, maybe i will make a phone app that recognizes andorid auto connection and manually set AA theme mode related to the hour.

Updated my Trophy to R59, issue is still there.
Sometimes I actually think it's was done by design, as it defaults to day, which i find useful sometimes.

It's not something I've actually noticed.
