I don’t really understand what the function of “ battery heating” is ? I’ve read that if using a rapid charger ( in cold weather) you should preheat the battery to make it accept the charge easier/ quicker?? But would you not normally be using a rapid charge to top up on a journey when the battery would already be warm? If I’m charging my car overnight when the temp is -5°C as it is tonight, at home, should I use the battery heating option . What is the advantage, if any ? ??
