Battery Management software update

If you had the BMS updated between October and last Monday, then BMS has a bug and causes range issues, in the region of 100miles. The best way to tell for sure which BMS, is fully charge the car, and the voltage should be around 455v. Also if your equalise charge takes around 5hours, you got the non-as-faulty BMS that doesn't cause range issues but takes an age to equalise.
120miles in winter sounds right, as batteries do not like cold weather. Also cabin heater takes a fair bit of power also. Batteries love to be at 20c.
Please can you confirm which BMS update you are referring to. Is it SA015b?

Stuart and the team covered the bms update extensively on the youtube broadcast.

Thanks that was useful however my dealer is still asking which update reference number it refers to. I wander if there is a published list of these reference numbers? dealer comment was “
I have checked your chassis against the new updates SA015b list and it's not on it.

The next step forward would be to get you in and raise a case with MG.

Im not 100% sure as im not a MG tech but I think SA015 is the 5 hour equitation BMS and SA015b is the newer one with range killer bug in colder temperatures. I believe both are pulled for now, so can't be loaded onto a car.
