Brake not releasing

Hi. Select D or R and attempt to move off and the brake will not release. Happens randomly. Thought it may have been when parked too close to an object/ bush etc.
But seems to happen in open space as well .
Thoughts team ?

If the seat belt is not put on then you have to manually take it off by press down on the handbrake switch.

Now I think about it, on each occasion I was just making a short maneouvre to make room. The simple things eh? Ta muchly friend
