Bought the Trophy model and its a complete new way of driving, any tips on how to drive a hybrid to put back as much energy as possible would be greatly appreciated, like should i be driving it in "echo" mode? and please bear with me as I will be on hear asking questions until I get used to it.

Nah, drive in Sports mode, and floor it. They are pretty nippy, so I've heard. 🙂👍

Seriously though, it's up to you, if you want to eke out, every mile possible, then eco mode's probably the one to drive in.
Someone will probably be along with "tips" on economical, driving.
🙂👍

I'm at the age now when I'm in no rush to get anywhere, so I just pootle about in it, and I like to challenge myself to get the best mpg that I can, so I mostly use Eco mode and regen 3, but when the right occasion presents itself, it's nice to use the MG3 Hybrid's power.

Thank you for your reply. We are the same. both retired and in no rush to get arround, wierd that we have done nearly 200 miles up to now and only used one notch off the petrol gage. how do I adjust the regen settings please, mine is on 2 at the moment. Can it show your mpg while driving or not? All my settings are as they were when we collected the car.

Just enjoy the car and don't worry about anything:):):)
Thank you, we are but I'm frustrated about not knowing how to make any adjustments😕

Select 'Vehicle' from the menu screen, then select 'Driving' to find the Regen settings, but I have placed mine on the left 'Star' button for ease of use.

To get the MPG while you're driving, use the buttons on the right of the steering wheel to get this screen, it shows the usage stats from the start of your journey.

Fair enough. 🙂👍

I use regeneration on 2 road vehicles and 1 motorway vehicle.

You should know that the MG3 needs an official running-in period of 1,500 km and will only give the best fuel consumption after probably 2,000 or even 4,000 km.

To use regeneration effectively, use it as you would your brake pedal. For example, if you come to a red traffic light, gradually change to 2 (from 1) and then 3.

I don't use mode 3 much, even in town, because it seems to give the engine a few jolts and the accelerator pedal is too sensitive.
