Can someone tell me please? (Auto-dimming mirror question.)

Hi. I want to know if anyone can tell me what the green light is, and when you push it it goes off? On the mirror. What's it for? The mirror you look into to see what's behind you.

I believe if the green light is on then the mirror will automatically dip for you so any cars behind will not blind your vision. With the light off you have to dip the mirror yourself

I’m not 100% sure but your mirror has an auto dimming feature

I believe the green light just indicates it’s on & working

Green light is on.

I believe the issue with the dimming part is, the Trophy has tinted windows so there is less light coming through the window, I haven't noticed any difference when driving day or night regarding dazzle.

I used to drive my mums old toyota corolla verso with a dimming mirror and clear glass all round and could see a difference very easily.
