Car Mat Clip Spacing

Just to confirm I picked my MG5 SE (facelift) up today and it has 245 drivers and 300 passenger as per the options on carmats.co.uk

I measured my FL Trophy some time ago and couldn’t get to match with the any of the options offered on several online mat providers.

So I carefully cut some holes in the holeless mats that came with the car. Sorted.

I bought a set of mats without knowing there were different spacings. The ones I got were a bit wider than they should be but I forced them on anyway and after a day or so they settled so now you wouldn't know there was an issue.

Has anyone established the correct mat clip spacings for Trophy LR or is it a case of whatever they felt like in the factory on that particular day/car - trying to order some winter mats ahead of picking-up my 5 up in a week's time and can't find a straight forward answer other than waiting until I have it to check, and then there being no hope of receiving them so close to Christmas?

I'm not sure they are made with much accuracy. In my case one was a bit tight with the hole plastics fitted the wrong way and the other was very tight with them the wrong way. After sorting the holes they they squished on just fine.
