Yes, it offers its own Android interface but also allows wireless connection of iPhones and other Android phones.

Whilst I do have the ZS Hybrid, I assume the system is similar enough and the ZS did also initially not like quite a few adapters, however I do use this now for a while, and it works

also it would be nice if there is any way to "unlock" the video functionality while driving as well. i know its not safe..

I too use the 2air CarlinKit 5.0 wireless adapter for my iPhone 12 pro max ios 18.2.
Works great and had no problems.
Got mine from AliExpress significantly cheaper than Amazon etc.

It does sometimes need a closing and reopening op the app on the box for some reason. So its a hit and miss

I bought an ottocast carplay and Android Auto adapter. I connected my Android phones and it was working very well, but central car display shows that there is a CARPLAY adapter connected with green icon, but the ANDROID AUTO icon remains gray

I use it in a late 2024 ZS Hybrid+, so not the old gen ZS; and actually found the recommendation (after some others failed to work) from an Italian YouTube video for the MG3 Hybrid, where several sticks and dongles were tested.

hello, I am French and new to this forum, I have an OTTOCAST U2 air pro only for Apple Car Play, ordered from their site, it works very well, takes on average 20 seconds to start, it supports 2 iPhones but not simultaneously .in case of problems I send a message on their chat and respond the next day.

to have Android and Apple, you need the U2 X adapter

How did you manage to connect it?
I ordered exact same model also using iphone
Bluetooth connects but no popup for carplay.

Wifi doesnt auto connect i have to manually enter the wifi password but that doenst help either.

Also tried connecting thru the carplay menu on iphone
Ottocast shows up there ask for the connection code but then keeps spinning for minute ending up in no connection

Wired carplay works perfectly on the same phone.
Also tried girlfriends iphone does the exact same thing…

did you manage to get yours connected? I’m having exactly the same issues and it’s doing my head in, I’ve spent hours on it

I wasnt able to get it to work
I ended up returning it
And now have a carlinkit uhd this one works on Android and Apple phones for me.

But sometimes takes a while to connect or randomly reconnects (takes a min) mid drive.
