Hope someone can advise quickly. I am getting my EV charger installed tomorrow by AES Charge. I had ordered an Ohme Home Pro but an email I have just received, to confirm they will be onsite tomorrow, states that they are going to install an EASEE Charger. I've not heard of this brand and can find very few reviews.

Does anyone have an EASEE charger installed?
Is it compatible with the MG EV?
Is it reliable?
Anyone know how it compares to the Ohme Home Pro?

As it stands I'm going to tell them to bugger off and hold out for the Ohme charger.

Thanks in advance for any help you're able to give.

I have the original Ohme and it works nicely with my Octopus Go tariff.
Why is the installer unable to get the Pro is it just a time scale thing trying to get in before to grant is stopped?

Not sure why they have swapped. It could just be an automated email that they're too lazy to edit to show actual unit your getting. I didn't pick up the email till this evening so no chance to query till tomorrow morning by which time they may already be onsite.

You still the buyer and if you paid for one then you should get what you have bought I think you will be in your right to ask where is the one you asked for and ask them to get one asp ?

If my paperwork says I ordered and paid for a Ohme, I personally would insist on getting what I paid for.

Read their small print to ensure you're bullet proof.

That's my view too. Just didn't want to cut off my nose to spite my face. I'll see what tomorrow brings.
