Charging output

Depends on a number of factors. Charging rate can be altered in the car. 11kW charger would be 3 phase, are you using a 3 phase Type 2 cable? If not you'd only get one phase (so about 3kW). Profile says Trophy ER, which I believe still have the onboard 3 phase 11kW charger.

This is the cable that came with the car.. no idea what I’m looking for here though

The cable that comes with the car is not 3 phase. You would need to buy a different one.

That said only a few version of the MG4 were fitted with 11kW AC chargers on board.

You need check if your port has the bottom 2 pins. Here is mine and you will see it doesn’t.

This is from my old MG5 which did have 11kW onboard. You will see the lower 2 pins are there.

As others have noted your cable is only single phase so 16A x 1 Phase gets you 3kW effective into the battery. An 11kW charger is wired at 16A for each of the 3 phases. Only "22kW" AC chargers are actually wired at 32A for each phase.
Given you have a Trophy ER you could have got 11kW (10kW effective into the battery) out of that charger with a proper 3 phase cable. They will typically be sold as "22kW" cables as they are rated to 32A on each phase.
This allows them to handle both 22/11kW 3P and 6.6kW single phase chargers.
The good news is that the 3kW you got is all that the other single phase only MG4 variants would have got. You didn't miss out there ;)

Just to note ... if the 3-phase charger fitted to the ER model is like the ones fitted to the early LR models, then you actually get up to 7kW rating single phase, whereas the single phase chargers are only rated to 6.6kW. :)

His profile says he has an ER, but I understand your question. (If it's 64 kWh then he has an LR rather than an ER, and the later LR cars come with a single phase charger). :)
