Combatting a sleepy car…

Has anyone had permanent success in combating a sleepy car? We’ve just had another missed charge overnight where the car would not accept power from scheduled smart charge.

Has anybody used trickle charge to keep the car awake? I’ve read this can help but I’ve also read that it can override scheduled charging.

Starting to feel desperate about all this.

I didn't know this was a problem with the 4.
Are you scheduling it on the car or your charger ?

Waev charger, MG4. The MG app useless and avoided.

The charger manufacturer sent me evidence that the charger tried to charge from 12:30am, and tried every 3-4 minutes but the car didnt accept.

Have you turned off scheduled charging in the car ( ie just let the wall charger take control). Also check your charge limit is set to 80 % ( trophy) or 100% for the LFP battery, as mine sometimes randomly changes (normally to 100%).. but it might set it lower than the current state of charge
