Cyberster almost here - thoughts

Not sure how committed MG are to selling this car in UK. I have signed up twice on their web site to get notifications about the Cyberster and have not heard a thing!

The call center are meant to call you and pass your details over to the dealer that's selling locally

That is what I would expect to happen. Nothing heard. If they are that bad at contacting potential buyers I cannot imagine their after sales service will be any good. Enough for me to be less interested in the car atm.

Unfortunately my experience of MG UK isn’t that good either. Their CS really don’t seem to bother…

You can do a test by calling the call center. Bet the person that picks some does a double take at "Cyberster". ? . They may be as bad as Nissan

Still no sign of the Cyberster with LeasePlan. I need them to hurry up before the wife realises what she’s agreed to. ?

haha, I recommend being in contact with them, as opposed to sitting back

Owing to their total lack of interest I will not bother to look at the cyberster until its been out for a couple of years. I have no faith in MG given the way they are (not) handling this.

Heard tonight that the first batch of Cybersters are still on track for arriving at dealers at the end of August.

No chance ?. Unless someone can pay the port guys some underhand to release it i assume type approval has been done by the one guy. Looking like September. Still needs inspection by MG and celebratory handover. Throws keys in the air hoping you catch it. Enjoy.
