Was told mine is ready for pick up next week. Ceramic coating is done by the dealer for £399. Mats are costing me an additional £84. But they’ll throw in the cables…

I have just been advised that mats are not included and they don’t even have a part number to order me a set. Does your dealer have a part number?

Seems MG dont have any consistency. Should be standard across the board.

If you're going to have your car ceramic coated, you really need to wash it yourself or only use a high end valeter that knows what they're doing. You simply can't use the lower cost hand wash places, as they'll have it stripped right off again after a few visits, due to the TFR usage, so you'll have wasted your money on the coating.Different types of coating. I'd also advise anyone who is getting this done to have it done properly by a professional detailer, not a dealer. Dealers don't usually do a very good job on preparation and application, it's usually just quickly applied by their regular car cleaners, as a huge extra profit centre for them. (£30 or so in materials and an hours labour the way a dealer does it!)

If you don't mind me asking, what dealer supplied your car??. I'm struggling to source mats. If your dealer is able to source them, then I would order a set through them.

I'm in Scotland, did you pick your car up today, what dealer was it?
Mats were included with mine, took them out for the autumn though.
Are dealers including them as a good will gesture or are some dealers trying to make and extra buck.
I'll check with mine tomorrow, and pass on their name then.

My car was delivered to me at home from Luscombes in Leeds. Advised mats not included and they don't have a part number to order them.... Thanks in advance..

Got mine from Frasers in Falkirk, got mats and a type 2 cable, courtesy of them.
If no luck with MG London then try Frasers.
Tel. No. 01324 632333 option 3, although parts guy is off until tomorrow.
I bought a new MGZSEV from Luscombes 2 month back, no mats supplied, apparently no MG's are supplied with mats as standard.

My mats look the same but charged 84 GBP. Asked about the part no. but dealer said that's still all being sorted out.... Will probably try and find some rubber mats for the autumn & winter, the exterior is already filthy and only driven 100 miles since picking up earlier today.
