Do I need a CCS cable for rapid charging?

Try again and if you have an issue call the support number on the charging unit and the support team should be able to assist you in the first instance.

Update - re charging unit, seems I was unlucky and chose two units not working - today went back and plugged in and eventually screen said "Error" and the re were no other charger available as ....(p proceed with rant ) there were 11 ! Mazda's all charging at the same time - spoke t o one of the drivers and they came up from Engerland to deliver cars from Mazda UK and were using OUR electricity for sod all ! + people had to leave as there were no chargers available :-(
My understanding is Chargescotland is for public use only and NOT company use ?? end of rant ..
Anyway the MG next to me was finished and I moved to that charger and it worked !!

What a load of nonsense - if the drivers needed to charge to complete their journey then that’s what the chargers are there for.

What makes you think that? Why wouldn’t every driver have one? Can you even start two chargers at once with the same card?

@Fireman frog - just a wee thing too, the Chademo AND the CCS Rapid chargers although having different tether cables are served by the same supply, so you and a Chademo user can't both use the rapid charge simultaneously. I found that one out very abruptly with a Chademo user saying "Oh that's OK, I was ALMOST finished anyway!!" ?
