Does the brake lights come on when the KERS activate ?

Does the break lights come on when the KERS activate ? as the vehicle slows down, warning the vehicles following you.

Yes it should do but onlybin kers3 and heavy regen.
There was a recall for it so check it has been done by the dealer.

Mine does, the benefit of driving down dark country lanes, you can see the red glow when you let off the accellerator.
Of course the downside is it is nearly as dark at the front due to the headlights.

It didn't on earlier ones, but the fix should have been applied at the first service it had during 2021.

I live in a city so couldn't tell at all by looking out the back while driving. I got my missus to stand at the side of the road while I drove past and then foot off the throttle. She confirmed they came on.
I even went back and picked her up.

On mine it works but only about 30ish mph.
So don't expect anyone behind to notice you slowing down if they're on their phone.
