Driving for fun?

Our car came with a bag of stuff but not looked into it yet I just took it into the house, the boot is small enough as it is, I didn't realise quite how small until I put the boot liner from the Fiesta in, it's tiny.

Is it a SupaGard cleaning kit? I had one with mine, and it is great stuff. Used to always use Autoglym products, but the SupaGard kit is superb and has halved the time I spend cleaning. There are a few members on here that use their products and really rate them.

@dsimpkins @Bricktop X PWR And you've cleaned the tyres. It's one of my pet hates when someone spends time washing and waxing their car but then doesn't do the tyres.
The same stuff I use for cleaning the tyres I can also use for cleaning the black side trim, and window rubber. It brings it up a treat and makes the car look some much tidier.

It can be used on the black gloss plastic trim, but I find you have to put a bit on a cloth and buff, otherwise it leaves residue marks.

I do the wheels and tyres first.(and wheel arches)
Get the 'hard' bit out of the way.
(Seperate bucket and dedicated mitt that never touches the bodywork)

This then makes the rest of the car a breeze IMO.

We will likely use the hand car wash down the road once a month.
Makes sense after what you said yesterday m8.
If its very busy, they probably do a good job and have plenty of return custom.

NEVER use one where you see the staff sitting about waiting for cars.

I personally wouldn't use one even if it was free of charge.

Personal piss poor experience in the past has seen to that.

I don't 'enjoy' cleaning the car per se, but do enjoy the sit back and appreciate my work at the end.

I agree with @Bricktop X PWR about hand car washes. I've had paint damaged from using them in the past, and some of them will use brick cleaning acid instead of alloy wheel cleaner as it's cheaper. It will destroy the lacquer on the alloys, and plastic hub caps will lose colour and start to appear washed out.

If you have the SupaGard kit, use it, the results will be worth the effort.

OK who started it? go stand in the corner hands on yer head

It's part of why I love forums, a bit like when I used to go down the pub, a bunch of mates and the conversation can go astray and come back all on it's own.
