Hi all my MG is 2021 I bought it Oct 2022 with 7000 miles on the clock. When fully charged the distance was 270mls but now it’s 248mls. Have tried an equalisation charge but no change. Just wonder if the drop was normal ?

So much depends on your driving style, speed etc. I have only had my SR Trophy for 7 weeks, but am impressed with the range I get. When it was really cold, I was only getting 3.2, but today - 4.1

I haven’t reset my trip meters, because my journeys are fairly similar. If I suddenly needed to zoom up the motorway, I appreciate the range would be much less.

October was much warmer than Past few weeks as well so this will matter my SR went from 163 miles to around 125 miles
Yeah that's about right. 163 in summer and around 120/130 in winter. Also compare Apples with Apples, ie compare Normal Mode with HVAC on and heater set to mid position each time. Note when charging the number displayed is what you'd get in ECO Mode not Normal Mode which is displayed when starting up the car. Finally at the end of charging the battery is always going to be slightly high and given a little while to settle a more truthful figure will be displayed. This is true of absolutely any rechargeable battery as there is a slight warming during charging which raises the voltage and also the charger has to presents a higher voltage than battery so that electrons will flow from the charger into the battery cells. Therefore just after charging the higher voltage is interpreted by the GOM as an artificially higher range.
