Engineering Menu

Hi from my initial exploration it shows many of the standard settings and vehicle type and approval info based on what country it was sold in etc. But without being able to get to down to coding changes there appears to be very little scope for altering things. A few on the list allow change like miles to km etc. Perhaps in the future more info will become available on interpreting some of the data and what potential changes if any may be made. I only went down this avenue as I like to know as much as possible about the car. For example with a good OBD-II adapter it’s possible to read and clear any error codes via an App on iPhone.

It would be nice if you could change the fake sound for example via this menu.
What I have heard so far is this not the best engine sound (electrical/mechanical) that the system produces.
But I think you can also turn it 'off'.

Hello, sorry for that post but maybe someone know password for mg zs 2024 with software 2024?
8 letters password
Is it a 2024 model or is that when it was 1st registered? Will likely either be via entering a passcode into the car's dial pad under phone tab, as per #12 above, or ZS service info has;
in the menu bar of the main interface, click [settings] -> [system], then click on the
software version number(Entertainment console version) 5 times and enter the
password ‘200519’ to enter the engineering mode.
SE/Trophy spec and/or respective year models can be different, so you you may have to experiment...

It is limited and doesn't look like its changeable without a hack. Some company in Estonia has come up with their own way around it. Sound bad but hey...
