So you only did FDR? You left EPS on the version from 23.08.24?
EPS version was updated on the 27.01.25 same as the FDR as seen in post #19

I haven't done a test drive since the FDR update. EPS was fully up to date although the config file had a question mark so I did launch the update again.

The car was smooth after the previous updates I did several weeks ago. TJA was also considerably improved (although not as good as my other car: 2023 Honda Jazz) and less nervous/twitchy when engaged. I'd put it a notch above my previous car which was a 2012 Honda Accord which functioned really well with radar cruise and lane keep to the point where long distance driving fatigue was reduced.

Went from a yank to a nudge, much safer

And.. what is "white hgvs"?

Last update was 2 services ago but was motor focused to resolve a different issue.

White Heavy Goods Vehicles, the camera doesn't seem to be able to pick them out against a grey sky when you are out and about on rural roads

Meaning it does not see it? Or it sees them when they aren't there?

Electric power steering so it can effect how strong the adjustment is
When I first got the car it was a yank & was dangerous almost caused me to have 2 accidents
After the August 24 update it went to a nudge and was far safer
I wonder how this January 25 update effects the adjustment to the steering

The milder adjustments were already introduced with the May 2024 lka update on my ER. Not so in TJA. That was still a nervous gadget...

Can you access and update this with the dongle you have?

Unfortunately I can't share the access details for it but checking your vin it doesn't come up

I had rattles from the sunglasses holder, its noisy when empty and close. Quite when empty and opened.

They thought that it's from the front pilar as i remember, but until today they don't solve the problem. In ny opinion, i think they should change the all lightning, sos, and sunglasses holder section.

BTW, can you see which ECUs they updated? I am starting to think about buying VNCI.

So I’ve just had my local MG garage call me to tell me that MG have recalled my MG4 Trophy for a LKA update.

They called it a “recall” so I assume that’s what it really is, rather than just an update. Recalls are logged with the DVLA for safety issues from my understanding. This would suggest they’re finally admitting there is a problem with the system!

It’s scheduled for the recall to be done next week. I’ll keep you all posted on if it improves things…
