Watched a vehicle fire video a few days back, there was a vehicle with a jet of flame probably 20 ft in the air, they claimed it was an EV fire but the shape and height of the flame said it was an LPG valve blowing off excess pressure from the tank .... so it wasn't an EV at all
I put a link up on another thread about an EV deliberately set on fire by punching a hole through the HV battery using a porta power .... they had to cut an access hole in the battery cradle to get the porta power ramp through and a second hole in the other end ... supposedly for a second attempt if the first one didn't work .... but my guess is it was to feed air into the battery fire.
The number of times they tried to get the fire going again in the hope the HV battery would go up big time .... in the end, there was nothing else left to burn, so they threw the blanket back over it and the fire went out .... try doing that with a ruptured petrol or diesel tank fire

With a diesel truck fire over this side of the planet, they don't even attempt to put the fire out, they are concerned with keeping the fuel out of the drains and waterways where it would creating a fire that can't be contained ......
