Exceeding speed limit flashing speed sign icon

The biggest problem in my opinion and its UK wide in the retail environment (including cars) is that the sellers of most of the items we buy don't know much about them at all.

I lived in Germany for over ten years and the one thing that puts that country above this one is the knowledge that the bog standard customer assistant (over ALL the spheres) has of the products they sell. The reason for this is that they are trained inside/out on the products they deal with so they can answer and give advice of their products to the customer.

Our sales assistants unless they are old and wise and give a shit actually know very little and why does the dealership not say "don't know sir, but I will find out and get back to you" I would.

Anyway all cars once the customer has set it to their choices should STAY that way until changed by them, however they are scared of repercussions of incidents like "I didn't hear the car coming before I stepped into its path" scenario" and if the money chasing lawyers find out you had the audacity to turn off the Pedestrian Warning system and the manufacturers did not have the back on by default setting then who would they sue the most!!!

I turn off most of the help systems that I don't want on or like, and that's my choice and should always remain that way, for example the speed warning, the lane keep assist which I don't want or like.
