Face Lift 2023 spare wheel options

Hi there, my brother has just taken delivery of a 2023 MG5 LR and needs a space saver spare kit.
This car has 17" alloys, will the 16" MG space saver work? I'm not toally sure how to check this

I bought one of these off ebay, I paid £160 though. Fits easily and works well as I found out, only 1000 miles on the clock and a new tyre needed
