Faulty USB-C ports?

You can get pretty inexpensive USB testers on sites like temu you just plug into a port and it will tell you if there is power to the port and even what charging standards the port supports.

I just tested on mine and i get 10Watts at 5V with my Oneplus 13 on those ports.

Thats 2 AMPS which is not great but "OK" especially considering Oneplus has a proprietary protocol for their phone/charger communication so i would never be able to get "great" charge speeds.

What this equates to is, my phone would need about 3 hours to go from empty to full.

Checked the fuse layout and it seems the USB ports do not share the same fuse, and also, if the USB-A socket in the back and front work its probably not fuse related as the USB-A and USB-C sockets are surely powered through the same fuse.

What happens if you try to power any non-apple product, does it still not work.

If it does i would suggest that the
The usb-c ports (front and back) work with an older iPad with a lightning port and a usb-c to lightning cable - that charges fine.

I've got a onePlus 9 Pro I can try with later (used it before switching back to iPhone a few year ago). Also have my mum's old poco x3 I can try to see if it's just an Apple issue.

Sounds like it is the apple product that refuses to charge from the ports rather than the ports being broken.
