First 'fight' with a Tesla driver ...

Just had my first fight with a Tesla driver queueing at John Lewis Cribbs Causeway.
I've used these chargers about 4 times now and there's always been around half a dozen chargers free when I arrived.
Today, full ?.
Not being familiar with the protocol here I accidentally pushed in... No honest, genuine misunderstanding.
He ( understandably) started papping his horn and yelling at me. We had a quick 'discussion'. I realised the error of my ways, pulled out of the bay, indicating he could have it, to whit he responded "nah, you take it".
So i did BUT karma kicked in and it took me half a dozen goes to get it going ?.
Currently got the 2 screens going as attached....
Why would you have a fight and be awkward. The most prolific network and half the price of the ionity across the way at McDonalds Cribbs causeway.
Don’t be a ****. Adoption of EV relies on collaboration and respectful use of the charging network.

Fight, Fight, Fight.? ???
We don’t need a Trump hero here thanks.

Chill Pill, Andy? Just having a bit of banter, nothing serious ??

I was at an ‘any EV’ Tesla charger bank (6 stations at Kingsley Village off A30 in Cornwall) where there was one Ice Car just parked in a charging bay and another Tesla using the tethered lead for charger 1 but parked in bay 2. Very irritating. Luckily it wasn’t busy and one Tesla was finished so I got a slot fairly quickly.

So basically, we have to wait until 25 nov to learn what Tesla will do with their older version chargers which are open to non tesla cars. The only V4 chargers I have used (which I assume will remain open to non-tesla cars)were at Bristol.

Then don’t quote the great orange butterbean.

I gave up half way through ... I know he has a tendency to ramble on and repeat things, but this video took things to another level. 🤦‍♂️

A couple of interesting posts on Tesla motors club wiki:

This suggests the 20 sites opened to all on 29th of April this year have until the 29th of April next year to comply and so can stay open till then. Good news for some if true.

Then yesterday:

I think it's saying older units will be upgraded over the next year and may even stay open to all in the mean time. Time will tell.
