Great day out with your MG? Post up a picture ?

Leave it. It'll be fine. Unless you're just looking for another excuse to take off in the car, of course.
Drat - battery on the low side now after my coffee at Dobbies Dunfermline. Then I came over to Go Outdoors in Granton Edinburgh. I’ve decided to just by a tent to replace the old one so road trip coming up ?

Trees need chopping down to be fair.

Spoils the view of the bridge.?

My neck of the woods. My wife's Beetle was used in an episode of Casulty once. She spent most of the day driving across the bridge, being filmed in the background while Charlie and Max are walking over the bridge. Got given a bag full of coins for the toll, plus paid for her time.

Weather at Fionnphort on Mull perfect yesterday but wet and breezy today. The five and the wigwam centred in the field a wee bit sheltered from the winds coming straight off the Atlantic.
Top up charge yesterday at Tyndrum on the way here and nipped down to the Columba Centre car park as soon as I woke this morning at about 06:30 and again topped up to 90% ready for the ~100 mile round trip to Tobermory via the spectacular Gribun rocky coastline.
The Mull bicycle road race was on today which meant endless drags along the single track road until the riders deigned it time to pull in or stop to let me pass. I came round one particularly nasty tight corner on a steep downhill bit to be confronted by two cyclists waving me to stop which was easy to agree to as there was a transit van and two pickup trucks blocking my way. As I eventually managed to squeeze between them and the sheer drop over into the sea. I could see a bunch of guys round a silver space blanket wrapped cyclist. A few miles later I stopped to allow a blues and twos ambulance to fly by unimpeded to help the guy.
The CCS charger in Tobermory provided another top up as quickly as I could take on some sweet potato and coconut soup, lovely. Back in Fionnphort I’ve just again topped up to 80% ready for escape adventures tomorrow. All those chargers worked well.
Now if you’ll excuse me I have a couple of lamb steaks here I want to introduce to my fry pan.

You do have some great days out. I should have posted about my Glyndebourne day out in this thread. First, Caliban on the destination charger, with his doppelganger in the background.

Second, the grounds and general ambience.

Third, dinner in the Mildmay restaurant, during the interval.

Finally, although no photography is allowed during the performance, here is a shot of a curtain call.

Going back in August for Tristan and Isolde.

Excellent stuff we used to go to Glamis Castle for the outdoor concerts - beautiful setting.

On Mull, there are Charge Place Scotland chargers at Tobermory (27p/kWh) Lochaline and Fionnphort. Each has CCS plus Chademo and Type2 (cable or socket)
The Fionnphort unit was tripped and displaying red when I arrived so I had to reset it to show the green ready lights by pulling the red stop butttout and holding the start button in until it reset.
I’m sure I saw the nose of a red MG4 poking out of a bush lined driveway to a house yesterday. I’ve not noticed any other 5’s. Quite a number of ZS’s about but I’ve only seen one with the green stripe badge of honour and most displaying the pipe of pong beneath their rear bumper.
There’s a few VW’s, Kia’s, Audi’s a Fiat 500 and a Polestar driven by a guy who knows all about charging lamenting about there being no adapter available to use the Chademo plug ??

I’m still encamped on Mull the weather is fantastic today- overheated my iPhone (and me?)

Mull’s highest mountains Ben More 966m on the left complete with mist and A’chioch 867m on the right. Fabulous hills to climb. The recognised way is A’chioch first then across the knife edge ridge between them. This takes a strong heart and perfect balance. We failed on our first attempt to have Christmas dinner on the summit as the top few hundred feet were solid ice and not conducive to ridge traversing. It was fine in August but couldn’t see much at the top - misty as usual that day too.
Car pictured coming back from Carsaig - a very steep decent / climb back but spectacular views.

There was some frantic revving and wheel spinning amongst the icemen (and women) trying to coax cars up a couple of the REALLY steep bits of the Carsaig road on Mull.
The MG 5 did it all silently without any throttle and not a scrabble from the new all season Michelins - dreamy drive ?
