Is it just my car but the heated steering wheel is only heating a portion of the wheel and even that is only marginally warm
Mine often gets too hot so maybe it’s just yoursIs it just my car but the heated steering wheel is only heating a portion of the wheel and even that is only marginally warm
A feature you've seen on the ZS maybe?Sorry, maybe not. Could have been dreaming lol
This is why I got the SE not the Trophy. The more you have the more can go wrong. That is also why when we by any white goods it's always the basic10 to 10 and also the bottom of mine gets toasty warm.
The spec on the SE had all I needed. Sure the other bits would have been nice, but I couldn't justify the extra 2 grand. I would get a few pairs of gloves and some thermals out of that and still have some change left over. This is why I got the SE not the Trophy. The more you have the more can go wrong. That is also why when we by any white goods it's always the basic
Personally I think thermals are pants. The spec on the SE had all I needed. Sure the other bits would have been nice, but I couldn't justify the extra 2 grand. I would get a few pairs of gloves and some thermals out of that and still have some change left over.
Mine gets hot but only seems to be around the lower half of the steering wheel. Even when I transfer my hands to the upper half it makes no difference, it's still cold. Also, the heater seems to be very slow to emit warm air until it's been on 25°C for at least five minutes. Anyone else have this problem ?Is it just my car but the heated steering wheel is only heating a portion of the wheel and even that is only marginally warm
The heater works off the combustion engine, which works off a different combustion cycle than a stand alone petrol engine. The reason for this is to make for smoother integration with the hybrid system. This cycle, known as the Atkinson cycle is more thermo efficient than a standard petrol engine. The downside is that it takes longer to heat up, more like a diesel in fact.Mine gets hot but only seems to be around the lower half of the steering wheel. Mine's exactly the same as yours.. better check my fuses.Well a trip to dealer solved the issue - blown fuse - must have been when the dash-cam was fitted - hopefully
