I drove in rain with charging flap (and rubber cap) open. What should I do now? Only realised after reaching home

The contacts won't be live to the HV battery - there's a contactor in there somewhere that has to close (and which presumably won't until plugged into a charger) before that'll happen.I've done it loads of times. As suggested above, just open it when dry and leave to dry. I wouldn't touch it with ear buds or anything personally, just incase.
You're probably right, but would you trust your wet hands on those sockets? I wouldn't just incase. Safety firstThe contacts won't be live to the HV battery - there's a contactor in there somewhere that has to close (and which presumably won't until plugged into a charger) before that'll happen.
Most definitely not. I'd get the wife to do itYou're probably right, but would you trust your wet hands on those sockets? I wouldn't just incase. Safety first
