How about this for a new PB? I've had some amazing figures coming down from up in the Peak District, but this one today was something else. Starting point was the ski station in the Cairngorm range, around 2,000ft up, finishing at Nethy Bridge, 1,200 ft below. Slow average speed as the mountain road down quite wiggly and there was a 30 speed limit beside a loch, plus we stopped to witness the spectacle of more than 50 greylag geese landing in a field.
The energy recovery is magical to me. Going up the 5 used 14 per cent of battery at about 3.5 miles/kWh, coming back down just five (it was a few miles more to the hotel from Nethy Bridge). Fantastic!
