What's the highest anyone has ever got ie from unusual / freak situations. Mine was 18 miles per kWh. The car had been out in the sun all day (so HV battery probably at goldilocks operating temperature) and was going down hill at about 10 mph (due to traffic) in the IOW on a really hot day. Windows down due to low speed so no A/C.
In winter was getting 3.0 mi/kWh on my run from Doncaster to Sheffield and back now I'm getting 4.5 to 5.0 which is great on a 20 mile mainly motorway journey for me
Leaving my house & travelling downhill for 0.8 mile the car records 20mi/kWh. It will maintain this figure for a further 0.5 mile travelling downhill. It would appear that 20mi/kWh is the maximum, as it never gets above this.
My best has been 4.7, more interesting is I was going from home, north Wales to Ross on Wye last week end so charged from about 20% to 100% on my home, 7kW max charger and car showed a range of 310 miles in morning.
Just got back from holiday in Dartmouth from Bristol and most days I was getting anywhere from 4.2 to 4.6 and got 4.0 for whole trip driving on motorway A roads and unamed roads ??
I drive mine like a normal ICE car, Normal mode Climate control on set at 22C and average throughout the year at 3.5 m/kWh. It's too much trouble to hypermile and be cold. It still works out at 2.7 p/mile (Octopus GO 9p a kWh for 4 hours overnight) I'm saving loads against an ICE car.
On a couple of occasions, I unplugged at work at 80% and after commuting 20 miles home ended up with 81% of battery. Dashboard showing around 5 mi/kWh for that journey.
I got a new record: 5.8 miles/kWh from London to Southend-on-Sea. It was against about 3 to 5 miles wind at 24°C on my 23reg ZS EV TC LR.
My 6000 miles average was 4.1 miles/kWh for past 16 months.
