My iSmart app was updated this morning, gets rid of the overheating message errors.

Hi, what version is the update please?

I have version 1.1.7 and it still showing the overheat message errors

Mine is was showing 1.1.7 too and the app said it was up to date but I went into Android Play Store to check for updates version 1.1.8 was available to download.

One concurs ... 1.1.8 (Android) now installed, and no warning messages.

Doesn't fix the nickname numeric keypad issue though. (See above)

Same here. At 1.1.7, it says its up to date, but it isn't. 1.1.8 is available.
Boo to not fixing the nickname issue ?

I haven't got my car yet, so I haven't tried binding iSmart to it yet (Duh!), but I have set up my account on it ok, but does anyone else find that when attempting to enter a nickname (My Profile > My Information > Nickname) that it only displays a numeric keypad, no alphabet.
I am not a number! (anyone else old enough to remember that?)

As I posted previously you need to update it via the Play Store not in the MG iSmart app. The new version is 1.1.8

Mine shows my car registration, which is what I entered, and has shown that for the last few versions of iSmart.

Current version is 1.1.8.

No overheat messages anymore but the unknown 'smart peripherals' option has disappeared as well.

For the iPhone users here, iSmart version 1.09 dropped 15 hours ago. My app updated automatically. The change log on appstore just says “bug fixes and improvements” and I’ve not played with it much yet. I am charging tonight so will see if any difference to pre heating while plugged in tomorrow morning.

Just noticed the app (Android v1.0.8) doesn't remember my mobile number either. Each time I open the app it's gone and if I re-enter it and hit send, it tells me the number is already registered

You were able to register a mobile number? (I never get the confirmation text). I've only been able to enter my mobile in the Contact field.

No, I registered the app via my email. The place where it keeps forgetting my phone number is in the My Profile > My Information > Mobile field.

So, I tried preheating this morning while plugged in and not charging, no dice. Then tried re starting charging from the app and I could enable preheating. That’s the first time this has worked for me. No wet slippers for me this morning. Progress.
