Infotainment SW HS phev

I’m normally over on the 4 boards and have completed a marathon day of updates.

OH has troubles with the infotainment on 21 plate phev. Many of my foibles have been cured with updates over the years. I plugged the HS in an it reports new operating software for the unit but it’s USB based. Anybody have the files, info and procedures ? Dealers aren’t being great as it’s over 3yo so suck through their teeth and a)say there are no updates b) well it’s out of warranty now.

when you say out of warranty ? warranty is supposed to be 7 years as far as im aware ?

Various parts of the car drop out of warranty earlier. Off the top of my head some examples - suspension 2 years, dash and interior 2, infotainment 3. I may be wrong on some (may differ and I’m thinking of my 4) there is a document on MGs website.

Only the main drivetrain parts have full 7 years.
