We had a nice reveal ceremony of the Cyberster at Hensol Castle in South Wales on the 12th August. Beautiful sunny day. 4 cars. 1 static and 3 for test drives. As it was held in Wales, was mainly arranged in conjunction with Nathaniel Cars who are the main MG dealership here. Liverpool & Wales football legend Ian Rush was there as a guest speaker as was Kevin Ratcliffe (Former Everton footballer).
Only had a short test drive of the Trophy (For a Roadster, lighter is better and in an EV range will be better) but the build quality, fit & finish and of course the doors etc make it a stunning car. Hard to believe it is the same manufacturer as the MG4- which is still a great car. (Have just joined this forum for more MG4 & X Power info!) Disappointed there is still no frunk as although the boot is useable, that would have made it an even better European GT car for 2 people. And it is a very long bonnet so it’s a shame it has not been utilised for some extra storage space- even the cable bag.
No demos until this month at the local dealership when I will get the chance of a longer drive.
