Intelligent speed assist?….

hi, had the HS PHEV for about 5 weeks now and really enjoying it.
I have been trying to use the intelligent speed assist, doing everything it says, the cruise control lever pushed fully forward, intelligent button activated on MG pilot, it’s reading the speed signs but with accelerating gently it just lets me exceed the speed limit. What am I doing wrong????????

On my ex BMW just had to floor the throttle to overcome cruise control and speed limiter. A good safety factor??

Hi, I am not trying to overcome it. I was testing to see if it will limit me to the speed limit, it will not even though I am very light footed.

I managed to activate both intelligent and manual speed assist and they did work. It was fiddly TBH and it often resets the speed value after roundabouts or hangs on to wrong value.

I believe you need to press the button 3. The ACC sticks has to be pushed all the way back

Tested it today morning again with ACC switched off and it worked.

Thank you for your help, I shall put it all into practice tomorrow, i think the problem was I didn’t press button 3.
